Red Wolf in natural habitat

The red wolf is one of the most endangered canids in the world. Our captive breeding and reintroduction program works to establish self-sustaining wild populations in protected areas of the southeastern United States.

Our Role

Greenfield Conservation Society operates one of the primary breeding facilities and coordinates with federal agencies on reintroduction efforts. We also manage community outreach programs to reduce human-wildlife conflict.
